I am running for the 17th House District because together we can do better.

Canton is home. I’ve lived here most of my life. I have served on the Board of Finance and the Board of Assessment Appeals, and as a residential solar consultant I’ve sat at kitchen tables across Connecticut with families squeezed by the cost of living.

I’m the son of a Polish immigrant, a middle-class millennial dad, and an independent thinker. I’m a centrist Republican focused on what unites Canton and Avon. My allegiance is to the Constitution and to the people — not to a party, not to Hartford, and not to Washington. I’m running to bring people together regardless of party affiliation and restore the sensible middle. The voters demand it and I’ll deliver it.

Canton and Avon send a fortune to the state, but education aid to Canton and Avon has been flat for more than a decade while unfunded mandates pile on. This has created a property tax crisis and it must be reversed. Canton and Avon should not subsidize the rest of the state while seniors and hard working families here struggle.

Electric bills keep climbing, loaded with charges that do not belong on your bill. Local zoning keeps getting overridden. Our debt per capita is outrageous and climbing. We cannot tax and borrow our way to prosperity. A one-party supermajority in Hartford has had years to fix all of this. They haven’t.
